“When the Body talks to itself, it can heal itself. Healing really can be that simple.”
- Dr. Ka’imi Pilipovich
BodyTalk is a revolution in healthcare. It works to restore communications in the body that have become compromised. It is an effective way of accessing the body’s innate ability to heal itself. BodyTalk practitioners do not ‘diagnose,’ ‘prescribe,’ or ‘treat.’ Instead, the BodyTalk practitioner asks the client’s body what is its top priority to address, using a neuromuscular biofeedback technique and a protocol of questions. When a priority area has been found, a BodyTalk practitioner uses a gentle, noninvasive tapping technique to reestablish balance. BodyTalk can be used as a stand alone system or in combination with other health care systems, alternative or traditional.

There are many things I could say about my experiences with bodytalk and how amazing it is…However, then this could turn into an essay! So I’ll stick to what has been most important for me. What I have realised through my body talk experience, is that it actually can change the subconscious. And it is the subconcious that can keep us stuck, where one can feel powerless to change the old patterns and the things we most dislike about ourselves. Bodytalk can dispel old belief systems that you may or may not be aware of, that hold you back from your true poteintial and self. I do not believe that bodytalk does all the work for you. I believe because it changes/heals the stubborn subconcious, it enables you to then to truly be able to change in your consciousness, in everyday life. It aids, supports and truly helps you to shift, lifts filters, and connect. For me this has been monumental, and I cannot express it in words how thankful I am for bodytalk. I had been, for a lot of my life desperate for something to help me. I really didn’t know how it was ever going to happen and sometimes I lived in a dark black hole. Bodytalk helped make everything more possible, and was one of the influences that made me realise that everything is indeed possible.
I have been having bodytalk sessions for 2 years now and have had 3 different practioners, all of which have been amazing. I have recently been having sessions with Laura and I feel very lucky to have her as my practioner. I am always impressed by her true understanding, intuition and insight. I think what stands out most is, that she geniunely is full of love to give.
I cannot say enough how much I value Bodytalk and how much it has helped me in my life. It was the beginning of much sought after, needed change and growth in my life. And it continues to be… It is truly a miracle and I believe as a paradigm, it can only expand, and be an amazing connective support for the world. I hope that many people will discover Body talk and it can help to heal them, in whatever way it is needed in their lives.
hi. my name is allison and i am wondering if body talk is similar to EMDR, a therapy used mostly for PTSD clients that which can cause new memories to be made within the body to release trauma.
thank you!
Hi Allison
BodyTalk has many aspects that address emotional trauma and charged memories. I have never studied EMDR, so I can’t make a comparison, but I know that BodyTalk is highly effective for these things. The wonderful thing about BodyTalk is that you are asking the client’s body what the priority is, so that it can say in what order things what to be addressed, and exactly how. Even though we may be suffering from an emotional trauma, the body may first need to address some other factors such as hydration, or lymph… or making sure that the breathing is flowing. It is essential that the emotions have a clear path to follow, so that they can be processed and released from the body effectively. In this way we release trauma and find more balance in the body.
I hope that answers your question. If you want the best answer, you should try a session yourself and then you can let me know! :-)
