… and I’m so still up! tomorrow I have 2 Franklin Method workshops to take with Eric, and I am very excited! I should be asleep already.

I have had a very quick cold… It seems that flying, spinning and bouncing in the big baby bouncer type thing shook things up, and after the motion sickness wore off, I had a sore throat and runny nose! I put myself to bed and tapped out cortices and Body Chemistry for the rest of the day yesterday, and woke this morning feeling 300 times better. Today, I taught BodyTalk Access which was inspiring as always. Every time I teach this class it feels like new transformations come through me. I see and feel different experiences~ witnessing the information saturate the room and the participants, and it takes on a life of it’s own. Each person has their own expression and experience of the material, and depending on the class, different words seem come through.

At the end of the day, after spending 6 hours teaching, I feel more energized than when I set out. That’s what I call a good thing.

Tapping into the body’s ‘energy system’

Ben Swan | The New Mexican

At first blush, a quiet tapping on the head and sternum doesn’t seem like it’d do the body much good. Some might even call it far-fetched.

But don’t tell that to those who’ve experienced BodyTalk, a unique technique that’s said to resynchronize the body’s energy system.

“I initially went into it to resolve a health issue,” said Jade Easton Grey, a longtime Santa Fe acupuncturist. “I found it shocking that it released a whole ton of other stuff. It turned out that it wasn’t just a health issue, but more of a life issue.”

Easton Grey said the sessions have helped her, her husband and even her pets.

When I ask my clients if they have been tapping out their cortices, they usually say “not as often as I’d like”. Then continue saying “I think about it, and then I don’t do it every time- but I should really just do it when I think about it. I feel so much better when I do.”

That’s what happened to me this morning. I wrote that blog telling myself to tap out my cortices, and then I didn’t do it! Why is that!? I had to read my blog post to remind me, and after I saw that, it made me stop and actually do it. Then I got so inspired that I tapped out the whole of Access routine. I decided as I am now certified to teach Access, I have to do it every day! Sometimes it’s really hard to make the time to stop and give yourself what you really need.

It also helped that Jessica knocked on the door, and I could do Access on her too. She’s agreed to be my guinea pig, and I’m going to do Access with her every day- and on myself too.
